Every year more than 400 owls are treated in Brinzal. 
You can help us in some different ways, but one of the most succesful is to adopt an owl to contribute directly to its rehabilitation.

Owls incoming in BRINZAL´s Center presents broken bones, diferent injuries,...and must be carefully treated since they can retrun to the wild. We work in the same way an hospital does: 

• Each animal is examinated with X-Rays to know if there´s any broken bone.
• A lot of them need some kind of cirugy.
• As they are in the Center they need diarily medication.
• We look for the bird´s evolution.
• When they can fly correctly, we move the bird to big jails and they begin to catch their owns preys. 
• Also the owls eat every day!!!!!

Owls are wild birds. They have neither owners nor parents that can pay the rehabiliattion program. The Adopt an Owl program try to pay all the rehabilitation cares. With this money we pay medicines, radiology, his diarily meal and all they need to return to the wild sucessfully. This rehabilitation can be done in a few days or we must work with the bird for some months.

When you adopt an owl you must know that it´s a wild bird. When you adopt a cat or a dog you are the "owner" of the animal and you recibe love and company from them. When you adopt an owl you help it to return to the wild and you contirbute with Brinzal to help the rest of the owls. 

WHEN YOU ADOPT AN OWL YOU WILL GET :

• An adopt certificate.
• A picture of the bird you´ll adopt.
• A short description of the bird you´re adopting.
• A medical history of the bird.
• Information about his evolution in our owl´s hospital.
• You can return it to the wild with your hands. 
• And you´ll become a Brinzal member for a year.

WHAT OWL CAN YOU ADOPT?

In Brinzal we work with owls. You can choose between all the owls inhabited Spain. The cost of the adopt program is in close relation to the cost of the rehabilitation carers the bird will need.
